The "Gatortail Band" is a true americana, bayou zydeco, rock experience. Combining current and top Carribe, Lousianna, Texas genre's, make this band very unique. They perform music from such great artist's as, "John Hiatt", "Delbert McClinton", "Sonny Landreth", "Tab Benoit", "Popa Chubby", "Mason Ruffner", and many others who reflect the styles of the region. The "Gatortail" members include, "Rick Leachman", lead vocals/lead guitar, "Shorty Syres", bass guitar/vocals, Kevin Scott on percussion/vocals and our other talented member, Phil Welty on lead guitar and vocal's. They perform and play flawless sets of swamp, boogie, blues and rock, with a tight rythm section, creative vocal's and nasty guitar arrangements  designed to shake your bone's.

       "Gatortail" had a great time opening for Les Dudek at 
        "The Catalyst" in Santa Cruz last August.

  • On October 6th, "Gatortail", is opening for "The Original Snail Band", at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz. We'll be performing our new CD featured here. Door's open at 8:00 PM and we'll hit the stage at 8:30. This is gonna be a great show and we're pumped up. 
  • Friday, May 25th, "Gatortail" will be opening for "The Original Snail Band" at "Don Quixote's" in Felton. The show starts at 8:30. The place is gonna jump and the foods great too.
